Official Rules

1. Eligibility & Team Formation

  • Team Size: 2 to 4 members.
  • Composition: Inter-college/department teams allowed.
  • Registration: All members must register before deadline.
  • Check-in: Must be present by 09:00 AM.

2. "Fresh Code" Policy

  • No Pre-built Projects: All code must be written during the event.
  • Resources: Open-source libraries/APIs allowed with credit.
  • Pre-work: Wireframes/mockups allowed; no coding.

3. Problem Statement

  • Theme: Must address Sustainability.
  • Types: Software (Web/App), Hardware (IoT), AI/ML.
  • Relevance: Diverging from theme incurs penalty.

4. Development

  • Equipment: Bring laptops, chargers, hardware.
  • Internet: Wi-Fi provided; mobile hotspot backup advised.
  • Mentorship: Available during Session 1.

5. Submission

  • Code Freeze: 04:15 PM sharp.
  • Repo: Public GitHub or Drive link.
  • Pitch: Max 5 slides (Problem, Solution, Tech, Impact).
  • Demo: 5 min demo + 2 min Q&A.

6. Code of Conduct

  • Zero Tolerance: Harassment/offensive behavior = disqualification.
  • Plagiarism: Strictly prohibited.
  • Property: Respect venue facilities.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Ownership: You own your IP.
  • Rights: We may demo for promotion.
